The Kubitizer is the genuine MCC fixed hammer impact crusher designed for the production of high-quality, high-strength cubical shaped aggregates in secondary or tertiary, low abrasion applications.
No shear or compressive crushing action takes place, as every stone is broken by impact forces at its weakest point, resulting in an exceptionally strong and well-shaped final product.
Available in three sizes, the well-proven original MCC ‘Kubitizer’ impact breaker produces material with outputs ranging from 40–200 tonnes per hour and is ideal for operation within a composite crushing arrangement alongside MCC primary crushing plants, screens, and conveyors.
Feed material is broken along natural lines of weakness (grain boundaries), while softer material is effectively shattered, leaving behind stronger aggregate products. The machine offers a choice of operating speeds to increase fines production when required.
All wear components are designed for easy replacement, ensuring minimal downtime. The rotor is fitted with wear-resistant manganese steel hammers, which are reversible to maximize service life. Interchangeable manganese steel breaker bars form the machine roof and secondary impact surface, while wear-resistant alloy liners are fitted to the remaining body sections to ensure maximum durability and utilization.

The HD model impact crusher is designed as part of the MCC range of crushing equipment to handle a wide variety of process applications where primary, secondary, and tertiary material processing is required.
From highly abrasive materials such as sandstones, gravel, cement slag, furnace waste, glass, granite, and basalts, to the recycling of asphalt, building and demolition materials, and concrete, as well as lighter and medium-low silica materials including limestone, shale, coal, and others, the MCC HD impact crusher can be adapted to provide an effective and versatile solution.
The HD impact crusher models are featured within MCC tracked units, as well as standard configurations for static and mobile/transportable setups within modular plant layouts. This allows for easily relocatable units with rapid production setup, delivering capacities in excess of 300 tph.
The crushers are available with two and four-bar rotors, with advanced design and materials used for blow bars and wear liner plates to ensure maximum wear life and optimal metal utilization.
Impact arms are hydraulically adjusted to control product size output and production rate, while the large cross-section of both feed and discharge openings ensures smooth material flow, minimizing blockages from slabby feed materials and reducing clogging at the discharge point. Additionally, the fully hydraulic opening system allows for easy routine maintenance, servicing, and repair.
